This week’s reading consist of the tale of Abraham. In his lifetime he has experienced a lot of hardships. Analyzing his actions and behavior, he is strong and loyal to God. A great example of his loyalty is heeding everything God has to say and carrying out his every action even if it means to harm his own kin in this case, his son Isaac in chapter 22. He is extremely kind and caring and has a great sense of justice, when discussing his people and the innocent in chapter 18. In Sarah’s case she seems also seems to have traits of loyalty towards Abraham and heeds his every word. But there was a slight hatred towards Hagar and Ishmael. Cases that shows her hatred is the mistreatment and the banishment from their household in chapter 21.
