As we are diving deeper into the story, I love seeing the social commentary Dante is using on his peers who are alive. Whether they are alive or dead his controversy over these figures makes me respect Dante very much. In fact the part where he would bash popes and religious figures were such an interesting read and how he dived deeper into the individuals soul and revealed the disgusting cannibalistic nature of humans. My favorite story was on Ugolino especially the sacrifice and the sad taste it leaves in the readers.
